1. What is convection?Convection describes the warming up of the environmental air with the help of a conventional radiator. The warmed up air rises on the basis of its lower density and pushes colder air toward the ground. The colder air is warmed up by the radiator on the other hand and rises as warmer air upwards. Consequently, an air-circulation starts. Convection-heaters have a more inferior efficiency as infrared-heaters. During this air-circulation dust is dispersed and distributes in the room. You still get cold feet since the warm air climbs upward permanently. 2. What is infrared-radiation?The infrared-radiation are electromagnetic waves, which warms up the bodies independent from the environment-air. Infrared-radiation you can compare the best with the radiation of the sun. The infrared-rays of the sun or the radiator are adsorbed by the surrounding solid objects, what leads to a warming environment. Infrared-radiation is beneficial for human being and animal and not to compair with the unhealthy UV -, x-raying - or radioactive radiation. 3. How to mount the thermored™ heating system? An installation manual is delivered with each panel, in which each step is described in detailating system. The heating system can be installed easily with the included wall mounting materials. The installation is comparablewith the mounting of a painting. 4. Can the thermored™ heating system be installed in a bathroom? The infrared – heating system carries an European security licens CE and IPX4 and it's therefore protected against splash water, i.e. it is protected against normal splash water in the bath room and it's resistant against a normal humidity in the bath. Please be aware: Electric appliances must have a minimum-distance of 60 cm to the next waterconnection generally. 5. How is the efficiency of the thermored™ heater? The thermored™ heating system has an efficiency of 100%, i.e. the input energy is used by 100% for heating. 6. How much heat-radiation generates the thermored™ heater in comparison to a conventional convection-heater?The thermored™ heating system generates approximately 70% heat-radiations and 30% convections. Conventional heaters are working vice versa. 7. Exists thermored™ heating systems also in other formats? We have a selection of many different formats and input power. You will find our great portfolio in our current pricelist, pls ask for it today > 8. Does thermoed heaters need maintenance? After the installation, our heating panels don't need any maintencane, it's maintenance free. 9. How long is the guarantee-time for this thermored™ heater? The manufacturer-guarantee runs over a time period of 24 months. 10. How the thermored™ heating system is to be served?Only one Euro-plug must be put into the socket which starts the heating element. Optional we offer also external accessories in order to control many heaters centrally, and this over the air or by SMS. 11. Which securitiy certioficates dare supported? Our infrared – heating systems have european CE conformity and also the german TÜV, which confirms, that our products are supporting all necessary European standards. 12. Generate the thermored™ heating systems electro-smog?The thermored™ heating systems generate less electro-smog than a normal light bulb. 13. How hotly does the surface become? The maximum surface-temperature of the thermored™ heating systems is about 95°C. Even you touch it it's not possible to burn you. 14. What happens if I cover the thermored™ heating system?A heat accumulation occurs. We have a temperature-protection for this case installed, which protects the thermored™ heater before overheating. Attention! Despite this temperature-protection, you should never cover the heating system. 15. How is construction of the infrared – heating system? The technology of the heating system is directly behind the front side. Through a electric carbon heating mat the heat is generated and radiates the front cover into to the room. To the guarantee of an efficient energy-exploitation, heat-losses are reduced by heat insulation at the rear of the radiator. 16. Can an electric hit occur by breaking front glass? No, the technology is very well isolated and separated from the front side. |
